Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, flat surface near a power outlet.

  1. Connect power: Plug the AC adapter into the printer and then into a wall outlet.
  2. Load labels: Open the media cover, insert the label roll with the printable side facing down, and close the cover.
  3. Connect to computer: Use the USB cable for direct connection, or proceed to network setup.
  4. Install software: Insert the CD or download drivers from the Brother website.

WARNING! Use only Brother-approved labels and accessories. Do not touch the print head directly.

First-Time Setup

Power on the printer; the Status LED will light. Follow installation wizard on your computer.

  4. Verify: Print a network configuration report by holding the FEED button while turning the power on.

Tip: Ensure your network supports the printer's protocol (802.11b/g/n) and has a strong signal.

Printing Labels

Supports printing from various applications and dedicated label software.

  1. Design label: Use P-touch Editor, or print from other applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  2. Select printer: Choose "Brother QL-1110NWB" as the printer in your application.
  3. Set properties: Configure label size, orientation, and print quality in the print dialog.
  4. Print: Click Print. The printer will automatically feed and cut the label.
  5. Manual feed: Press the FEED button to advance the label without printing.
