Unpacking and Setup

Remove all packaging materials and tape. Place on a stable, level surface near a power outlet.

Loading Paper and Toner

Paper: Pull out tray, adjust guides, load paper print side down, push tray in. Toner: Open front cover, remove old cartridge, unpack new one, shake gently, insert until click, close cover.

Use recommended paper (75-105 g/m²) to avoid jams.
Do not overfill paper tray (max 250 sheets).
Replace toner when LCD indicates low or print quality fades.
Recycle used toner cartridges per local regulations.

CAUTION! Do not touch the green drum surface; keep toner away from children.

Connecting to Network

Wired: Connect Ethernet cable to router and printer port. Wireless: Use control panel or software to join Wi-Fi network.

Wired: Connect cable, printer auto-detects network.
Wireless via panel: Menu > Network > WLAN > Setup Wizard, select SSID, enter password.
Wireless via software: Run Brother installer on computer, follow prompts.
