Installation & Setup
Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface near a power outlet and network connection if needed.
- Remove all packaging materials and tapes from inside and outside the machine.
- Install the toner cartridges: Open front cover, remove packing material, insert cartridges (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow) until they click.
- Load paper into the paper tray: Adjust guides, fan the paper, load face down.

Controls and Display

Loading Paper & Toner
Loading Paper:

- Use the control panel to select the correct paper type and size if needed.
Replacing Toner:
- Open the front cover.
- Remove the old toner cartridge by pulling the green lever and lifting it out.
- Unpack the new cartridge, shake it gently, and remove the protective tape.
- Insert the cartridge into its slot and push until it clicks into place.
- Close the front cover. The machine will calibrate automatically.
Tip: Use only genuine Brother TN-730 series toner cartridges.
Printing Operations
Print from your computer, mobile device, or USB drive.
- Ensure the printer is turned on and connected to the same network as your device.
- From your computer, select 'Print' in your application and choose 'Brother MFC-L3770CDW'.
- Adjust print settings as needed (duplex, color, quality, paper size).
- Click Print. The job will be sent to the printer.
- For mobile printing, use Brother iPrint&Scan, Apple AirPrint, or Google Cloud Print.

CAUTION! Do not place heavy objects on the scanner glass or force documents into the ADF.
Scanning Operations
Scan to email, network folder, USB, or cloud services.
- Place the document on the flatbed or in the ADF.
- On the touchscreen, tap 'Scan'.
- Select your scan destination (PC, Email, USB, Cloud).
- Adjust scan settings (Resolution, File Format, Size).
- Press Start. For PC scanning, ensure the Brother software is installed on your computer.
Fax Operations
Send and receive faxes. Requires connection to a working analog telephone line.
- Connect the telephone line cord to the LINE port on the back of the machine.

- Alternatively, use WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) if your router supports it.
Wi-Fi Direct: Allows devices to connect directly to the printer without a router. Enable from the Network menu.
Maintenance & Care
Keep the printer clean for optimal performance.
- Unplug the power cord before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or aerosols.
- Clean the scanner glass and ADF rollers with a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water.
- Clean the corona wire inside the drum unit if print quality issues occur (streaks, spots). Access via the front cover.
- Run the printer maintenance utilities from the control panel (Cleaning, Drum Refresh, Alignment).
CAUTION! Do not touch the green surface of the drum unit. Keep toner cartridges and drum unit out of direct sunlight.
