Unpacking and Setup

Remove all packaging materials. Place on a stable, level surface near a power outlet.

  1. Install ink cartridges: Open front cover, remove protective tape from cartridges, insert into correct slots.
  2. Load paper: Adjust paper guides in tray, load up to 250 sheets of plain paper.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into printer and wall outlet.
  4. Turn on printer: Press power button; printer will initialize.

WARNING! Do not touch print head or ink contacts. Keep printer upright during setup.

First-Time Configuration

Follow on-screen prompts on LCD display after powering on.
