Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet.

  1. Remove packaging materials and tape from printer interior.
  2. Install ink cartridges: Open front cover, insert cartridges in correct slots (BK, C, M, Y).
  3. Load paper: Adjust paper guides in tray, load plain paper.
  4. Connect power cord to printer and wall outlet.
  5. Turn on printer using power switch.

WARNING! Do not touch printhead or ink contacts. Keep printer horizontal during setup.

First-Time Setup

Power on printer; follow LCD prompts.

  1. Language selection: Choose preferred language on initial screen.
