Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and tapes from printer interior.
  2. Install ink cartridges: Open front cover, insert cartridges in correct slots (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow).
  3. Load paper: Adjust paper guides in tray, load up to 250 sheets of plain paper.
  4. Connect power cord to printer and wall outlet.
  5. Turn on printer using power switch.

WARNING! Do not touch print head or ink contacts. Keep printer away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

First-Time Setup

Power on printer; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Install print head alignment sheet when prompted.
