Unpacking and Installation

Remove all packaging materials. Place on a stable, level surface near a power outlet.

  1. Install Ink Cartridges: Open front cover, insert cartridges (BK, C, M, Y) until they click.
  2. Load Paper: Adjust paper guides in tray, load up to 250 sheets of plain paper.
  3. Connect Power: Plug power cord into printer and wall outlet.
  4. Turn On: Press Power button, follow on-screen prompts for initial setup.

WARNING! Do not touch ink nozzles or copper contacts. Keep printer upright during installation.

Initial Setup and Configuration

Power on printer; use control panel to configure language, date/time, and network.

  1. Select Language: From Settings menu, choose preferred language (default: English).
