Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and tapes from inside/outside the machine.
  2. Install Toner Cartridges: Open front cover, remove packing material, insert color (C/M/Y) and black toner cartridges, close cover.
  3. Load Paper: Adjust paper guides in tray, load paper (face down), set paper type/size in menu.
  4. Connect Power: Plug power cord into machine and wall outlet, then press POWER button.
  5. Initial Setup: Follow on-screen prompts to set language, date/time, and install drum unit.
  6. Connect to Computer/Network: Use USB cable, Ethernet cable, or configure Wi-Fi via control panel.

WARNING! Machine is heavy; lift with care using handles. Ensure proper ventilation around the device.

  3. Select paper type/size via control panel > Device Settings > Paper Setting.
  4. Replace toner when message appears or print quality declines. Open front cover, remove old cartridge, shake new cartridge 5-6 times, insert until click, close cover.

Tip: Store toner in cool, dry place. Use paper within specifications to avoid jams.

Basic Operations

Print, Copy, Scan, Fax functions accessible from home screen.

  1. Printing: Select from computer or mobile device. Use Secure Print for confidential jobs.
  2. Copying: Place original in ADF or on glass, select Copy icon, set copies, color, size, density, press START.
  3. Scanning: Place original, select Scan icon, choose destination (PC, USB, email), set format (PDF, JPEG), press START.
  4. Faxing: Select Fax icon, enter number via keypad, place document, set resolution/darkness, press START.
  5. Duplex: Enable in print settings or copy menu for automatic two-sided output.

WARNING! Do not touch fuser unit (inside rear); it is hot during/after operation.
