Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet and network connection.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and tapes from inside and outside the printer.
  2. Install toner cartridges: Open front cover, insert CMYK cartridges in correct slots, close cover.
  3. Load paper: Pull out paper tray, adjust guides, load paper, reinsert tray.
  4. Connect power cord to printer and wall outlet.
  5. Connect network cable (Ethernet) if using wired connection.

WARNING! Toner cartridges are heavy; handle with care. Ensure printer is on a stable surface to prevent tipping.

First-Time Setup

Power on printer; follow on-screen prompts on touchscreen display.

  1. Initial startup: Printer will perform self-test and calibration (may take several minutes).
