Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet and telephone jack.

  1. Install ink cartridges: Open front cover, insert black and color cartridges as indicated.
  2. Load paper: Adjust paper guides in tray, load plain paper face down.
  3. Connect telephone line: Plug telephone cable into LINE port on rear.
  4. Connect to PC: Use USB cable to connect to computer.
  5. Plug into AC power.

WARNING! Do not touch ink cartridges or print head contacts. Ensure all protective tapes are removed.

First-Time Setup

Power on device; follow on-screen prompts on LCD display.
