Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet and network connection.

  1. Remove packaging tapes and protective materials from inside printer.
  2. Install toner cartridges: Open front cover, insert black, cyan, magenta, yellow cartridges, close cover.
  3. Load paper: Adjust paper guides in tray, load up to 250 sheets of letter-size paper.
  4. Connect power cord and turn on printer.
  5. Install print driver: Use CD or download from Brother website, follow on-screen instructions.
  6. Connect to network: Use wired Ethernet or configure Wi-Fi via control panel.

Driver Installation for Network: During installation, select Network Connection, detect printer.
