Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet and telephone jack.

1. Install ink cartridges: Open front cover, remove protective tape, insert cartridges into correct slots.
2. Load paper: Adjust paper guides, load up to 100 sheets of plain paper into tray.
3. Connect telephone line: Plug one end into LINE port on rear, other end into wall jack.

Controls and Settings

Ink Cartridge Replacement: When ink low message appears, open cover, replace cartridge(s). Run head cleaning and alignment after replacement.

Print Head Cleaning: Use utility software or control panel MENU > Maintenance > Clean Print Head.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol or abrasive cleaners. Avoid touching scanner glass with fingers.
