Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet.

  1. Remove all packing materials and tapes from printer exterior and interior.
  2. Install toner cartridge: Open front cover, remove cartridge from packaging, shake gently, insert until clicks.
  3. Load paper: Adjust paper guides in main tray, load letter-size paper face down.
  4. Connect power cord to printer and wall outlet.
  5. Connect USB or Ethernet cable to computer/network.

WARNING! Do not touch the green drum surface; avoid exposure to light. Keep printer away from heat and humidity.

First-Time Setup

Power on printer; follow on-screen prompts on computer.
