Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and tape from printer exterior and interior.
  2. Install toner cartridge: Open front cover, remove protective materials, insert cartridge until it clicks.
  3. Load paper: Adjust paper guides in tray, load paper (plain, up to 500 sheets).
  4. Connect power cable: Plug into AC outlet and printer.

WARNING! Printer is heavy; lift with care using handles. Ensure ventilation space around printer.

First-Time Setup

Replace drum unit: Open front cover, remove toner cartridge, pull drum unit out, replace with new unit, reinsert toner.

Reset counters: After replacing consumables, reset via maintenance menu or hold GO button during power on.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Exterior: Use soft, dry cloth. Interior: Use lint-free cloth to remove paper dust from rollers and paper path.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners. Keep toner away from skin and clothing.
