Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet and network access.

  1. Remove packaging materials and tape from inside and outside the printer.
  2. Install toner cartridges: Open front cover, remove protective tape from cartridges, insert into correct slots (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow).
  3. Load paper: Adjust paper guides in tray, load plain paper.
  4. Connect power cord to printer and wall outlet.

WARNING! Do not touch the green drum surface of toner cartridges. Keep printer away from heat and humidity.

First-Time Setup

Power on printer; follow on-screen prompts on control panel.

  1. Initial startup: Printer will calibrate and display language selection.
  2. Set language: Use arrow keys to select ENGLISH (default), press OK.
