Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet.

  1. Install ink cartridges: Open front cover, remove protective tape, insert cartridges until they click.
  2. Load paper: Adjust paper guides in tray, load plain paper print-side down.
  3. Connect power: Plug power cord into printer and wall outlet.
  4. Install software: Insert CD or download drivers from Brother website, follow on-screen instructions.
  5. Connect to computer: Use USB cable or set up wireless connection.

WARNING! Do not touch printhead or ink cartridge contacts. Keep printer horizontal during installation.

  2. Press ink cartridge latch, remove old cartridge.
  3. Remove protective tape from new cartridge, insert until it clicks.
  4. Close front cover, printer will initialize ink system.

CAUTION! Use only Brother genuine ink cartridges. Do not turn off during initialization.

Printing Documents

From computer or mobile device.

  1. Ensure printer is on and connected.
  2. Open document, select Print from application menu.
  3. Choose Brother DCP-375CW as printer.
  4. Select properties: Paper size, quality, color mode, duplex.
  5. Click Print, monitor status on LCD.

Direct Printing: Insert memory card or USB drive, use control panel to select and print images.

Tip: For best photo quality, use Brother photo paper and select "High Quality" in print settings.

Scanning & Copying

Scanning:

  1. Place document face-down on scanner glass, align to corner marks.
  2. Press SCAN button, use arrows to select scan destination (PC, USB, email).
  3. Select resolution and color mode, press OK to start.

Copying:

  1. Place original on scanner glass.
  2. Press COPY, select number of copies (1-99).

WARNING! Do not force scanner lid closed on thick objects.

Fax Operations

Requires connection to analog telephone line.

  1. Connect telephone line to LINE port on printer.
  2. Load document face-up in ADF (Auto Document Feeder).
  3. Dial number using keypad or speed dial.
  4. Press FAX START, monitor transmission status.
  5. Receive faxes automatically when printer is on.

PC-FAX: Send/receive faxes directly from computer using installed software.

Memory: Stores received faxes if paper runs out.

Wireless Setup

Connect printer to your Wi-Fi network.

  1. Press MENU, navigate to Network, select WLAN.
  2. Choose Setup Wizard, select your network from list.
  3. Enter Wi-Fi password using arrow keys and OK.
  4. Wait for connection confirmation (WIRELESS light solid blue).
  5. Install wireless drivers on computers from Brother website.

WPS Method: If router has WPS button, press it, then press WPS on printer control panel within 2 minutes.

Tip: Place printer within range of Wi-Fi router for stable connection.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug printer before cleaning exterior.

  1. Exterior: Use dry, soft cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
  2. Scanner glass: Clean with lint-free cloth and glass cleaner.
  3. Printhead: Run automatic cleaning from maintenance menu if print quality declines.
  4. Rollers: Clean with damp cloth if paper feed issues occur.
